Discovery Care Centre offers a “medical” model of assisted living, meaning that the licensed nursing staff are present around the clock. It is often populated by seniors with medical challenges such as diabetes, stroke, arthritis, post-surgery or very advanced age.

Recreation, full-service meals and personal care are all included in a Service Plan price. Physicians will make scheduled visits into the resident’s home here.
  • 24-hour licensed nurse on-site, including 24-hour medication dispensing
  • Wound care and dressing for minor injuries
  • Assistance with oxygen and supplies (oxygen charged separately)
  • Special diets accommodated (diabetic, no salt, etc.)
  • Scheduling and transportation for medical and personal appointments
  • Daily housekeeping and personal laundry service
  • 24-hour alarmed security system
  • Administrative services: notary, fax, US mail, trust accounts, insurance evaluation
An interesting and busy calendar of activities is designed to promote physical and intellectual wellness. Games, presentations, outings to local points of interest and restaurants and in-house movies are all part of our program to maintain our residents’ interest and activity level.
