REHABILITATION & AFTER SURGERY CARE

Discovery Care Centre’s Rehabilitation and After Surgery Care is designed to enhance the quality of life for residents who are temporarily or permanently unable to live independently.  We offer patients who are convalescing from surgery, recovering from injury, or experiencing a lengthy illness access to specialized services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy; the use of health-related equipment; and an appropriately stimulating activity program.

Upon admission, our licensed Restorative Nurse works with the individual resident to create a customized care program that will enhance a patient’s recovery or slow down a degenerative condition to generally improve their quality of life.  Supplemented by strong affiliations with health care professionals and local institutions Discovery’s rehabilitation care has a results-oriented reputation.  We often receive calls from other facilities referring residents who are not thriving in their current environment because here at Discovery, our top notch staff and well-equipped Therapy Room helps each resident reach their highest level of independence.
