The 58-bed Skilled Nursing wing of Discovery Care Centre is the pride of the Bitterroot Valley. Only two blocks from Hamilton’s Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital, we maintain relationships with physicians, hospice services, pharmacy and emergency personnel throughout the Valley.

Led by the Director of Nursing, our full-time staff of licensed nurses and nurses’ aides provides all levels of care for our residents. Long-term care includes maintenance of unstable conditions, post-surgical care, infection management including IV therapy, wound care, monitoring of medication levels and efficacy, pain management, rehabilitation Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy and care for patients with dementia including Alzheimer’s.

Also included are standards of care for bathing, grooming and hygiene, nutritious meals including tube feeding, special diets and eating assistance, daily laundry, medication assistance, coordination of care with physicians and specialists, and all expected services. We identify the needs of our residents and then meet them with professional skill and experience.
